By the help of God, our first step was the beginning of a long fruitful and admirably inexpressible journey.

WAHRAN started out as a small concern, then with diligence and continuous perseverance, it turned out to be one of the most imposing conglomerate in Kuwait.

Founder & History

WAHRAN Trading Company was founded in 1971 by Mr. Naim Abu Shanab.

It began with just one outlet Al - Samah pharmacy. Today the company has more than fifteen retail chains controlling over 30% of the perfumes and cosmetics market in Kuwait, more planned in the future, and it also has a variety of other selective distribution channels.

This is a massive achievement considering that the company was founded as a private business 50 years ago.

The business is managed by Mr. Naim Abu Shanab who is assisted by devoted family members as well as a team of highly qualified executives in Marketing, Sales, Distribution and Pharmacology.

Such qualifications grant the company strength and resiliency to improve and develop its operations and strongly penetrate the local market.
